The assessment usually requires between 1-1.5 hours and is administered using iPads.
An Education Assessment
This provides information about your child’s academic achievement in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and math skills. The assessment usually requires between 1.5-2 hours and is administered using iPads and pen/paper.
An Autism / ADHD Assessment
The autism assessments provide information about how your child experiences the world. Two Neurohive specialists (with at least one psychologist) will complete various activities and explore a range of sensory items with your child. This usually requires between 1-1.5 hours.
The ADHD assessments include interviews, school observations, and ADHD questionnaires completed by the parents, the child, and the teachers. The final confirmation for ADHD will require a consultation with a paediatrician or a psychiatrist as we cannot prescribe medication.
